Marche companies are invited to take advantage of a fund to help them develop their international markets.
The Department for International Trade (DIT) has launched its new internationalization fund for qualifying businesses in England.
Matching grants of between £1,000 and £9,000 will be available to support companies wishing to develop and expand their international operations.
To obtain a subsidy, the companies will have to finance part of the costs themselves. This will represent 40 or 50% of the total cost.
Funding can be used to help cover the costs of:
– Market research
– Intellectual property advice
– Translation services
– International social networks/SEO
– Trade fairs (when no TAP funding is available)
– Independent market visits
– Consulting and other international business services
Marches LEP Access to Finance Champion Paul Kalinauckas urged businesses in the region to use the fund.
“This funding can offer real help to businesses in Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin to grow their global footprint. If a company is planning to develop or expand its international activities, this fund can be of great help. »
To qualify for funding, the company must be based in England, be a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) with up to 250 employees, have an annual turnover of less than 50 million euros or an annual balance sheet not exceeding 43 million euros. and no more than 25% of the company must belong to a company that is not an SME.
The fund is supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
