Hotel technology company ePOS Hybrid is gearing up to launch a Series A funding round next year as it targets Europe, Australia and America for its next stage of growth.

The Edinburgh-based company nearly doubled its workforce with nine hires, taking payroll to 22, after its busiest three months.

More than 350 additional locations in the UK rolled out its plug-and-play payment, order and transaction management products between August and October.

Andrew Gibbon, Head of Growth at ePOS Hybrid, said: “It’s a very exciting time at ePOS Hybrid as we welcome a range of talented new people to the business.

“There’s a real sense of excitement in the office right now and it’s no surprise – we’ve successfully closed a round of seed funding, onboarded new team members and are now battling sales records each month.

“The hires will enable us to develop and execute our aggressive growth plans in the UK and overseas, improve and diversify our product range and enter new markets.

“The past few years have undoubtedly been difficult for the hospitality industry, but we are proud to have helped restaurant businesses through this time while making huge strides as a business. We are very happy to welcome the new members of our team who join this journey. »

The company recently launched its products in the Indian market. This deployment was an instant success and created four India-based roles.

He recently surpassed a crowdfunding goal of £500,000, raising nearly £750,000, including £100,000 from a single angel investor.

The new roles at ePOS Hybrid will help the company accelerate its growth in the UK market while enabling the company to begin its international expansion efforts.

Bhas Kalangi, the company’s founder, said: “With such rapid growth, we are expanding our product range for food and beverage companies looking to maximize their profits – removing control from delivery services third parties and handing it over to the companies themselves.

“The ePOS Hybrid team has worked tirelessly to ensure that we are constantly improving and growing. With a lot going on right now, there is no doubt that new hires will be crucial to working on this constant growth and expansion. The sky really is the limit for us.

In just two years, ePOS Hybrid’s hospitality solution has grown from 221 locations to over 1,100 with over 11.4 million consumers having used its platform to order food or drink.
