NJUA STATEMENT ON FY2023 INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDING
Trenton – President and CEO of the New Jersey Utilities Association (NJUA), Thomas R. Churchelow, Esq. today released the following statement regarding hundreds of millions of dollars now available as part of the state’s FY’23 budget for infrastructure:
“This funding is the culmination of years of advocacy by various organizations to improve all aspects of New Jersey’s infrastructure. Perhaps more than any other state in the country, New Jersey needs a safe, reliable, and up-to-date infrastructure to operate and succeed. The money now available in this budget is a huge step forward. Our thanks to Governor Murphy, Senate Speaker Scutari, President Coughlin, and all lawmakers who advocated for these funds. There is certainly more work to be done, but we are now getting closer to our infrastructure goals. »
