Simplified Healthy Food Program starts at the center on Tuesday 13e September for 6 weeks from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This is a fun class where you will learn how to prepare healthy meals on a budget. Limited places, to book please contact the Center at Tel: 074 9155055 or email: [email protected]

Senior Alert Program is available from Mevagh FRC. This is a monitored personal alarm for people aged 65 and over with limited means. It allows seniors to live safely and independently in their homes. Financed by Pobal. Installation and equipment are free and if you connect to a landline, monitoring is free for the first year. Charges apply for alarms configured via GSM (SIM card). Please contact the center for more information. Tel: 074 9155055.

Parent, Baby & Toddler Busy Bees band – This group is for parents/guardians and children 0-5 years old. We meet every Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. €3 per family.

Mevagh Bridge resumes on Wednesday, October 5, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Mevagh Family Resource Center. New members are welcome, knowledge of bridge essential. For more information, contact Sandra on 086 8132220.
