The Community Resources Program is currently accepting applications | The Bee – The Buzz in Bullhead City – Lake Havasu City – Kingman – Arizona – California

The City of Lake Havasu has launched a community resource program that injects up to $1 million in ARPA allocation for nonprofit and public service organizations. This program aims to support local organizations in the areas of food, housing, medical services, agency services, child care, elder care, senior services or other social services.

The City Council established the Lake Havasu City Community Resource Coalition (Coalition) to develop a Community Resource Application and Evaluation Process to evaluate funding applications received and recommend recipients of funding distributions to the City Council.

Successful proposals must plan for long-term investments and be transparent and fair. Projects must align with the Council’s ARPA priorities and improve community health preparedness, address the negative economic impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, assist populations hardest hit by the crisis and help the community respond and rebuild a stronger, fairer economy as the community recovers.

Eligible organizations can still apply for funding. The funding application file can be downloaded by clicking on the following link:

The Coalition will review program applications with particular emphasis on projects that have a direct/specific benefit to the City of Lake Havasu and its residents. The deadline to apply is December 9, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.
